All leagues providing football for affiliated clubs and teams are required to sanction their competition(s) with the County FA or The FA on an annual basis. This process can be completed using the Whole Game System.


During the league sanctioning process, organisations will be required to supply a list of their key officials (secretary, chairperson, treasurer and welfare officer), a copy of their league rules for the upcoming season and a copy of the league AGM minutes and accounts.


Leagues are also required to organise their divisions and cup competitions, although this action can take place during the season via the Whole Game System using the 'League Structure' tab.

 

In addition, Essex FA has the responsibility of sanctioning Summer Tournaments and Charity Competitions held within the county.
