Suspensions are imposed if an individual receives 5, 10 or 15 cautions in a season before a specified cut-off date and come into effect 7 days after the relevant offence:

5 cautions (cut-off: 31st December in the playing season)

1 match suspension and a £15 fine

10 cautions (cut-off: Second Sunday in April)

2 match suspension and a £15 fine

15 cautions (cut-off: 31st May)

3 match suspension and a £15 fine

If a player receives 20+ cautions in a season, they will be subject to a continuing misconduct charge after each additional 5 cautions received. The sanction would be determined by a Disciplinary Commission.
